Source amber ts lens?

Would like to convert my rear turn signals to brake lites on my '79 KZ 1000ST. To be legal I need to find stock OEM style red lens. I know I can run clear lenses with colored bulbs, but prefer to just have a red lens for the purpose. Any body know any sources?
Thanks,
Ken

I don't know a # for a direct replacement lens. But NAPA has a good cross reference for finding these. Take your lens into a store and see if they can find something off of the dimensions. Or if you can navigate their web site you can try.

Give Z1E a call- they should be able to order something through PMC.

If you get the Luxeon red LED's from Superbrightleds dot com you can keep the yellow lenses. I did the turn/brake conversion and with the red blasting through you can't tell the difference.

Yeah, but they look way better if you paint the amber lenses red. I used Testor's 1605 transparent red enamel (plastic model paint)

Here's how they look:

I have seen the red lenses from Kawi cop bikes on ebay for like $20 each. Painting them is way cheaper.
