Took out the original seal beam, added a H4 headlight from Cycle-Re-Cycle (29.95) This headlight replaces your old seal beam , just unscrew the old bulb from the holder and screw in the H4 headlight ,No mods required (RE-AND RE) .if you look at the pic of the Bi-Xenon kit you will see 2 round eye connecters for the battery( +,-) a black control box and the ballast then the bulb itself. First attach the postive and negative round eyes to the battery poles, then remove Gastank put the black control box connected to it just in front of your coils and attach with zip ties.On my bike I have a Cafe Fairing I bought so I mounted the ballast just under my left turn signal light and the fairing hides it ( You might have to get a little more creative to hide the ballast if you do not have the Cafe fairing Stick it underneath or something). Connect the 3 Prong plug on your bike that normaly goes to your headlight to the Coupler. Stick the Xenon bulb in the H4 headlight connect and your ready to go.It was actualy quite easy. It's actualy idiot proff you must connect everything for it to work nothing is left over.A to B to C etc.You get my drift. Here's a diagram
There is enough wiring in the harness to go from the battery to the bucket no problem.

That sounds kind of redundant and confussing, tsar.

So you're supposed to connect the provided "round eye connectors" directly to the battery and connect the 3-prong headlight plug (which already provides power) to the headlight as normal?
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like it will be providing power via two diff paths that way, which obviously would be redundant?

I'm just curious, because I'd also love to swap to the Xenon set-up on my bikes.

That's the way its set up , The 3 prong plug controls the ON and OFF feature as well as the HI-LO switch so it runs as normal . The battery hook up is so the ballast gets that shot of power it needs to get it up and running, after that the stater takes over.As for your shipping dude My Brother brought my kit from Hong Kong, but my buddy ordered this kit on Ebay and got screwed $40(USD) on the shipping , It actualy cost them $114.00 Hong Kong Dollars to send it which is $15 USD ( we counted the stamps on the package and it added up to $114.00 (HKD)).

Here is the link for the video I promissed :

The bike souds like KAKA cause I just pulled it outta storage and it hasn't been started in a while.

Thanks for the heads-up. This sounds like a great lighting/safety upgrade for a 30 year old bike like mine.

Up Side: :)
- 35 Watt draw instead of my current 44 Watt bulb so less current draw on an older alternator.
- 3 x the light output.
- Better light colour for night driving (4300K - Extreme White @ 3100 lumens).
- Cooler running in the head light area.
- 8 to 10 times the bulb life.
- $29.99 USD is affordable.

Down Side: :(
- Some assembly required (actually, I like this part). :)
- $69.99 USD to ship one full kit to Canada! :pinch:
- Only $59.99 UDS to ship each additional kit! :pinch:

So that's $100 USD delivered! :pinch: I really want one of these but I have a hard time getting over the shipping costs.

To bad Z1 Ent. doesn't carry these... it would be less expensive that way I think. Hint, Hint, Hint

BTW, could you add your year, model and location in your signature... KZR's in Quebec are as rare as hen's teeth.

Bill this kit is 6000k and I'm alttle confused on the $100 it's only $70 CDN with shipping from Hong Kong, that's still cheap considering the first quotes I got were $400.

Yeah, I'd love to get into one of these systems, but I'll only do it if the price is right and $40 for shipping is just stupid.

Jeff, are you reading this? It'd sure be swell if you could offer these kits for a reasonable price...

No, I was asking what internet site you used. I used the one quoted above.

You're soooo much closer to China so that explains the lower shipping. :P

Free shipping, but it costs $100 . They've obviously rolled the shipping into the price...
