Go to Z1 Enterprises website --- Click > www.z1enterprises.com/
Then go to Reference Info, and click on Kawasaki;
and next click on Z1 KZ900 Carb I.D. Guide.
Scroll down to "Mikuni 29mm smoothbore carbs" to enjoy and learn from the pics and info.

So the general japanese consensus is that the FCR carbs are better than CR specials but only marginally, AND $300 more expensive..... and no matter what, the keihins are better than the Mikuni RS series?
The general consensus is that FCR carbs provide more power than the CR specials, but which is overall better is split 50/50. As far as Mikuni carbs, i have yet to actually see a set of mikuni's except for stock carbs on stock bikes.

I use the FCR on ATV builds and the CRS on KZ 4 builds.

Excellent Larry. Now is that because the FCR carbs only come in one size (35mm) from Sudco, or is it because they don't offer much of a performance over the CR Specials for the additional cost?
The FCR singles are generally 41mm. No flat spots, no bog...just nail it and hang on
Drag Racers usualy use Lectrons. Awesome carb for that but not much good on the street.
