Gosh darn it  Wookie, You're correct!! Thing is i haven't seen an original slug of plastic for years, my fault!! When they come in K&L's they are rubber, not plastic. But rubber is actually better for sealing at this plug, i'v always used a simple oring that is an interference fit around carb casting where the slug fits. Just proud of casting to contact bowl gasket. Thing is regardless what you use, don't want the slug to fall out.

A Dash 006 O-ring fits the pilot plugs nicely.  Dirt cheap, and easy to find.  I sell a complete O-ring kit for the BS34's for $20.

Wookie, I cannot get it to just push in.  I've tried and it just falls out.   Asphalt900, yes. it's a 2000 KZP.  I'll try 2 turns out, and no, it's the little silver plug, inside the carb.
Where did you get the "O" rings from - if correct they should "pop" in (I have just done mine)

They are part of the Partzilla kit I purchased.  Do you, or anyone else know what size those o-rings are?

Wookie, nevermind, I answered your question before I saw Nessism's post.
