Pilot jets

I was not attempting to say the intake filter was the issue, rather that you had not indicated what you were doing regarding it. I agree that is an interesting looking intake system. Thank you for the pic, and agree that unless it is leaking somewhere it is not the cause of the issue you are having.
 I tend to feel that when ever the stock arrangement is altered one should not expect it operate like it did when new. I do feel like the the fuel we can provide is not what the machine was intended to run on. Not to say tweeks can not be done to make it run correctly, rather to not expect it to without them.

I totally agree, when changing a lot of the original operating system things are not going to run the same. A lot of tweeking will be needed. I have actually managed to sorce a brand new filter for this bike today, yes, total shock. Im going to check it all over this weekend, and if all looks ok, i will try a size or two with the pilots, and see what happens. I do thank everybody for their input on this.
