Fuel Tees
27 Jul 2025 18:35
I’m going to need new fuel tees for VM26 carbs, don’t want to spend 50 bucks each on OEM unless necessary. Has anyone used the ones sold by Z1 parts with good results? These are rubber coated with built in like o rings. TIA

Everything I've ordered from Z1parts (quite a few parts) has been high quality. I've used their repro fuel tees on a set of VM28's and a set of VM26's. Very good reproductions compared to OEM. And their customer service is great, whether you call or email them.

Clay is beating around the bush. What he wants to say is to take your old Tee, chop off some of the rubber, and slip on individual O-rings. The photo is his.
What I do is buy cheap china brass Tees, then shorten them and add new O-ring grooves using a lathe. These are about half the price or less compared to buying new Tees.

Hi Ed and Clay,
would you please tell me the dimensions for the O-rings ? ( If possible, in metric dimensions?.....I meant the O-rings for the original "both-sides-rubber-stripped"-tees, thanx a lot!)

I use SAE dash -011 size. Nitrile works well, it swells with gasoline contact, which leads to a good tight seal.
Edit: -011 is the proper size for the long, center feed fuel Tee O-rings. For the smaller, duel feed fuel Tee's, a different size O-ring is need (see below).
