Has anyone done the Mikuni VM34 swap on a 1976 750B twin? If so what is gained by getting rid of the stock CV carbs?
Mine is currently stock except for an Alphabet header.

Better throttle response. lighter. better parts availability.
I went with Mikuni RS-34s from Topham Germany (they call them TM-34 on their site) - These have some advantages over the VM series carbs. They fit the original carb boots. Easier to balance, no throttle cable splitter required, use push/pull throttle, easier to use choke, and they have accelerator pump.

Good morning Guy!
Got your email and I would be happy to send some pics and info. Should it be as a reply to this personal email?
Do you have a timeline in mind for receiving them? I've made a couple changes and would like to take new photos to send to you.
Most likely will take a few days for the pics since we have rain forecast for next 4-5 days.
Let me know.
I appreciate your interest in the bike. I've gotten positive reviews from everyone who's seen it!
