2 carbs down to 1 was created by Yoshi
Currently my 81 kz440 ltd has 2 carburetors. Is it possible to funnel both inlets to one carburetor? What kind of carb do I need if I go down to just one?

Another topic for a KZ440 single carb is "My custom bobber 440" but the pics are gone and I think some of the info is also gone.
However, on page 2 he says he used 1.5" copper tubing to make a manifold for a 2004 KFX400 ATV mikuni carburetor.
From memory the air filter was mounted perpendicular to the carburetor, sticking out the side. he claims the new setup gave more power.
