I like reliability. I don’t like constantly pulling the carbs to get the jetting right. Some people do. Not me, I hate it.
I'm good at rebuilding carbs and good at changing jets but I rejetted at the direction of a man who was expert with these carbs so it was easy.
If you’re unfamiliar with messing with rejetting, as I was, it’s best to take advice from the knowledgeable people here. It worked for me. The bike still runs like a champ.

Progress! I got with Nessism through email and he has rebuilt a set of Vm26 carburetors for me and will be shipping soon. By the way if anyone hasn’t seen his work it’s absolutely amazing! New question I need to figure out the carburetor boots.

What carburetor manifold boots do I need to fit a set of VM26 carburetors to a 2000 kz1000p?
