BS34 750 carb boots - part number confusion
27 Mar 2021 10:22
Last year I bought a set of 1000/1100 boots from Z1E, as they mention that
this set
doesn't work with BS34s - however, checking the parts diagrams, the numbers seem to be the same for Keihin and Mikuni equipped 750s.
Mainly I'm hoping that I can buy these (once back in stock) not only because they have the proper bolt spacing (a pain to grind the 1000 boots to fit) but also because after less than 12 months the boots I've been using are all seriously cracked. Not yet leaking, but it seems imminent.
Failing these, I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction, maybe to XS650 holders or something.

Partzilla indicates they have them in stock, but do not indicate how many or how much. You need to log in to see price.

Yup, buy OEM Kawasaki parts. The safe bet.

I completely forgot about that option - I figured OEM would all be hard as rocks from sitting. I'll give it a try. Thanks to you both!
