I checked the set I rebuilt and have on my ‘78 Kz1000 and a spare set I have for future. Both are straight... I vaguely recall straightening the arm on the first set I did.

It's not on mine, and does not show as offset in the factory manual.

Yes, I see the photos. Was just wondering if the straight lever was due to your straightening it or if it came that way? A photo from the factory manual would set the record straight. Lacking that, I'll assume straight is right.

Mine is straight. These are from a 1980 KZ1000 LTD.

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

Latest challenge with these carbs, missing the knob on throttle stop screw. Think the knob from most any VM set would work. The search is ON!

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationJust for reference. this is the first set I have seen that still has the knob. I had seen so many with out the knob I wasnt sure there was actually supposed to be one.

Just solved it, those with the single fuel feed have offset arm to allow clearance, and those with twin feed have a straight arm, just been looking at different sets, as for the thumb screw when i bought my pumpers and that part was missing i made one from brass and managed to get a NOS spring for it.
