Mine are also VM28SS from a 1978 Z1-R. I have two sets. Both are stamped 104 0A.

I can see the stamp on mine in the same place just can’t make it out.

To the best I figure based on Partzilla and internal parts my set is from a 1980 Kz1000 LTD. see photo of stamped number on the flange

Zilla, looks like P9 over Y4. I guess that’s a year/date code of some kind. The 120 over 5 is the size and type. Just a guess.

That’s what I was thinking, I’m just gonna call it 79/80 models when I’m sourcing parts. Saw another topic on starter plungers I might look into getting.
