I used my digital dial and check the new vs old and there was a very slight difference so slight that I didn’t think my cheap gage was being accurate ,it’s one form harbor freight

In one of the pics you posted earlier you show the flange with the ID stamp. But I can not see what it is. If you post what the ID is I may be able to provide more info on what the set of carbs are and model year they may of come from. Making no promises.

First I must apologize as you had posted the ID number early in this post. Did not see that until I re read the post, 120/5. I have some info that indicates a 120/1 were stock on1979 or 1980 KZ1000 A. I can not say if the 120/5 came on the same year or not. Of the ID marks I have gathered I do not have the 120/5. But will add that from the info on IDs I have found all of the 12x/x other than 120/2 are vm28ss carbs. The 120/2 is a vm26ss carb

It’s no problem, any thing I can do to help id these carbs I’m happy to do, anyway it’s down at the moment me and my wife went on a ride with some friends she rode the KZ I was on my Vmax, anyway later that day few hours from home and it lost 1-4 cylinder, I’m waiting on my replacement dyna pick-ups. Thinking a loose wire got it.

Dumb me, I mixed up 102 and 120. I edited my last post to fix this, but still not sure which model or year the 120/5 came on. I do have info of 1201 on a 79 or 80 KZ1000A

Just FYI
To the best I figure based on Partzilla and internal parts my set is from a 1980 Kz1000 LTD. see photo of stamped number on the flange

I do not claim this to be correct but info I have would indicate that 1202 is a vm26 carb that came stock on the LTD models.
Again not claiming any accurate info on this, just some of the data I have collected.
It is rather confusing as some carb assemblies have been superseded by other part numbers. I do not have access to early part lists, only later ones which leave much to be disrered.

The best way to identify these is photos, 1 each looking at the front and rear, 1 each of left and right, one from underneath and one inside a bowl, we know they are pumpers and looking like they are 28s vacuum tap model, mk11's and shafties had 28mm pumpers some A2's and ltds had 26's with and without pump, D models 28s, and if they have air and fuel screws they will be Suzuki.
