As do the bobbins and circlips. Not the usual aged yellow colour. Not even ultrasonic cleaners get them that clean. Maybe hes mixed some new with oem.Scirocco wrote: Hm, the plunger shaft brass surface looks like new to me on his carb set???

Mikaw, remember we don't know anything of your bikes history and can only comment on what we see in the pictures you post.
At best giving clues and pointers is all we can do not having your bike in front of us to view and explore or the benefit of knowing everything that has been done to it over its life. That's why fault diagnosis over the internet requires many question and answers, many of which could lead everyone in the wrong direction entirely or even prove ultimately totally fruitless. Yet still we try to help fellow z'ers.
