Guaranteed the plungers are all seated. And the lever is still firmly attached to the rod. Where do I go next. If someone can help an old school dog learn to post a video I have a great one showing the action of the choke plungers.

Ok that's good news however that doesn't explain how the lever is in the closed position on your original photos yet the plungers are in the open position. On your new photos they are operating correctly. Something must have changed between your original photos and your new photos.

I have a vague guess about your Keyster plungers. Without the brass guide pin on the plunger you lost your venturi effect.
The guide pin should work like a simple jet needle, so my theory.

As do the bobbins and circlips. Not the usual aged yellow colour. Not even ultrasonic cleaners get them that clean. Maybe hes mixed some new with oem.

Good spot. Im not familiar with that type of filter and cant see where they would vent too. Looks like a glass bowl with no outflow and therefore no vent.

Ok. No fuel filters on the atmospheric vents. Until I can get 90deg elbows in-line they are used to make 90deg connection from single outlet Pingle to two fuel inlet “tee’s”. I Reused the factory choke plungers. Lightly Polished the shafts to help smooth operation. New spools, dust caps and O-Rings. In the picture claiming the choke plungers are not closed yet you assume the lever is completely closed is of a non completed set. Because photos can skew reality you can’t trust your eyes and make that a true statement. As you see from a more recent set of photos the choke plungers are closing and are lifting as normal operation would require. This is the third set of carbs I have rebuilt, and because I had heard about issues with choke plungers not sealing and causing tuning issues, I was very meticulous in their assembly. Also seeing this set was to replace a set ov 26mm that I was Experiencing poor low RPM acceleration and also a low RPM lien surge problem. I was extremely diligent when assembling this set... I asked questions and did my research before during and post assembly.

That's one of the ugliest seats I've ever seen! Maybe the bike is embarrassed to start. Try taking the seat off and I'm sure everything will be good.

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

 kick a man when he's down hardrockminer.
Mikaw, remember we don't know anything of your bikes history and can only comment on what we see in the pictures you post.
At best giving clues and pointers is all we can do not having your bike in front of us to view and explore or the benefit of knowing everything that has been done to it over its life. That's why fault diagnosis over the internet requires many question and answers, many of which could lead everyone in the wrong direction entirely or even prove ultimately totally fruitless. Yet still we try to help fellow z'ers.

I’ve actually been a good student. Even to looking at the pods for interference to the intake openings
