1977 KZ750 twin main jets
05 Jun 2020 15:38 - 05 Jun 2020 15:39
I ordered a jet kit from 6 Sigma and the new main jets (right) look different from the old ones (left). Even the orifice looks different. The stock ones have a hole for the tip of the needle to sit in, the new ones don’t. They told me that they work because the threads are the same and the orifice is right. Anyone have info or thoughts on this?

Never seen any main Jets like yours on a Kz750 twin carb (Mikuni BS34 ).
Any pics of your carbs would help.

The BS38 needle and bleeder tube is off-set from the main Jet.
So why do you want to change the main and pilot jets, they will never wear!!!
Edit : New picture Shows the Pilot Jet position

The kit calls that the pilot jet, and the one I’m questioning the main jet. What is the jet pointed to in my pic?

If you are looking for main jets for these carbs Search N100.606-SIZE and there are lots of options. I bought some and they fit
