1980 KZ650LTD replacement petcock was created by Cabbagio Redentor
My petcock recently failed, So I ordered a new one off amazon trusting their compatibility thing since it wasn't very expensive. I ended up with a petcock with mounting holes too small.

I ordered www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07R6XFKDT/ref...02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
And yeah, if I would've read the description and measured the holes, id have known it wouldn't fit, but I didn't.

According to the parts diagram, I need 51023-1023, which is no longer available. What could I get to directly replace it?

Before anyone suggests I rebuild it, its simply not possible. The little tap that the fuel comes out of has actually fallen out, so its essentially junk.

Can you post any pics of your petcock and the bolt pattern/spacing?

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationNo eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationDo your own search. Z1E may have one that will fit as well.

Z1Enterprises.com sells a Suzuki petcock that has a 44mm bolt-hole spacing & others have installed it on their 650s.
I saw two listed at Z1Ent & I'd guess the only difference is the height of the fuel pickup tubes. guessing.

Alternatively, maybe look into an OEM KZ1000P police petcock. I'm not sure of the bolt-hole spacing, but it has a wide fuel screen, so it might be 44mm instead of 34mm. An aftermarket part might not have the same spacing as oem.

Holes are too small or the hole spacing is off?

Holes were too close together.

I bought the kz1000 petcock and switched the back of it 180 degrees, it fits no problem.

Got everything running again. Thank you!
