Swapping from vacuum to gravity petcock.
01 Jul 2019 17:42
So recently on a ride heading home on my '81 KZ440D2 my diaphragm on my petcock decided it didnt want to seal anymore (this i found out after tearing it down at home later), so now i have a replacement good 'ol gravity fed petcock, but after looking at my options (that i can see at least) of where to run my fuel line so it's not an uphill battle im left a little stumped, one way it gets in the way of the choke linkage and the other it goes over the carbs and causes the uphill battle. I'm fine sticking with the vacuum petcock, just went with the replacement because it was cheaper and could get here quicker. Any Suggestions/ Comments/ Remarks?

Shouldn't matter as long as it's below the tank.
