Look like mikuni vm26 or possibly vm 28 to me. You would need to measure the diameter of the throat by the slide to be sure.

I have an identical set in front of me, and they are 26mm, measure the bore if it is 27mm they are 26 right down inside the throat, 28s will measure at 29, yours are also for a vacuum tap model, KZ1000A2.

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

My guess is VM26SS carbs. They were used in 1976, 1977 and part of 1978 on KZ900's and KZ1000's. If they have fuel/air screws (can't tell for sure from the photos) they are from 1976. If they have pilot adjusters (looks like they do) they are 1977 or 1978. In my view these were the best carbs used between 1973 and 1980. They don't have the complicated synch mechanism of the Z1's and they don't have the accelerator pump of the later years. Very easy to rebuild and very responsive across the power band. I have a set from 1976 on my B4.
