I have after a lot of work got the VM24 to work good, so I`m not planning to replace right now, but will look for a upgrade plan in the future for more power
I understand I will be able to take more out of the 810 kit by having larger carbs.
I has also understood slide carbs is better when you running with pods?
Thank you all !

It might ( or should ??) help your motor a little more also since you have 110 more cc's (you lucky dog) ...... but of course getting the jetting spot on is gonna make a difference too.
3-4 HP don`t sounds much? I`m newbie with motorcycle, but with a car 3-4 HP will not be noticeable, but 3HP will be a differences on a bike?

I ended up getting the best ALL AROUND performance with the VM24. Sure I give up some top end but who rides around at WOT all the time. The 24's perform great for a daily rider, starts easy, idles smooth, pulls hard while getting over 40mpg. They were a WHOLE lot easier to dial in than the larger ones.
Cool bike you have !
Maybe I shall just stick to my VM24 then... I have finally get the engine working properly with them...
I can also do something with the cams and port in the future if I want more power also....??? how much more HP will you get then ?
I re bored my cylinders and rebuild the whole top last winter so I will not open up again in may years
