Carb boots for a KZ900/1000 are used.
The bolt holes need to be elongated inward to match the KZ650/750 head.
All carburetors with removable fuel metering components can be 'rejetted' for their application.

This for 29mm smooth bores too and use a 7/32 round chain saw file to slot them in ward like said .062 per side. The bolts are .218 so it is a perfect match and use a caliber to get the .062 per side and you will have them centered exactly......... I forget(have it wrote down somewhere) but the manifolds are approx .050 to .075 larger but after bolting them on the sealing ring smashes in to match the ports on the 650 head almost perfectly..... I'm mean over half of the surface with in .003 or less and the other half almost perfect like you sanded or ground it that way ....... have done it with 2 sets over the years and both have done this.

A couple people commented about using the carb boots for the KZ900/1000 on the 26 and 28 Mikunis, will this also work with these 24s? Whatever is on there right now has a smaller inner diameter than the head, and I can feel a significant lip that will completely ruin the airflow through there.
