Looking to fine tune factory KZ1100 carbs

I did some searching and found a post a while back from wired george that said with my pipe and pod filters to use 140 mains and 40 pilots. i used the 40 pilots but only had 135 mains (factory ZRX jets) bike runs way better from roll on but I've noticed what I believe to be more popping on decel than prior to jetting. To me this dont really make sense since popping on decel is normally from lean condition. But since Ive enriched both circuits I don't get it. I did not mess with metering screws yet. Im guessing they are going to need opened a bit ? Anyone ? The 140 jets have been ordered.

Adjust the pilots then see if it goes away. Have you synced the carbs?

5 or 6 [?] years ago somebody on the forum found a different jet needle that
worked great for the BS34s. You might want to checking the archive.

I have not syncd carbs after valve adjustment. I will after I put the 140 mIns in. I seem to remember with my ZRX I had to raise jet needle with a brass washer to help eliminate the popping.
