Has anybody ordered his o-ring set for TK27 carbs before?
It appears he has good stuff (new quality o-rings) but I cannot tell if the o-rings will fit my carbs or not.
(btw.. I am only looking at internal O-rings) I will order the manufacture float bowl gasket/O-ring)
Thanks,
Lee

The kits they sell are specific for the common Mikuni BS/CV or the VM series carbs. Suzuki's versions of these carbs to be specific, but most of the o-rings are identical to those used by Kawasaki's version of these carbs as well. I tend to doubt these same O-rings would work in a TK carb, but you never know.

Thanks.
Considering risking it for the price. OEM will cost me around $50 or more, and who knows if those have been sitting around 20 years! From the research, I don't trust the K&L kit either.
I will wait till I pull the carbs apart to order though, Then I can measure to verify.
I did order the OEM float bowl O-ring today.

If you have some calipers and can measure the part diameter in the O-ring groove and the ID of where the part fits I can help you figure out what size O-rings you need. I've got a pretty good variety of O-rings too...
For example (fictional):
Diameter of pilot screw = 3.4 mm, and the ID of the hole 5.0 mm.
An O-ring with 3.0mm ID and 1mm thick should work.

Thank you!
once I get them off and apart, I will take you up on that.
Should be able to focus a bit more time in coming weeks now that hunting season is over.

Hello Nessism,
I am hoping to take you up on the O ring offer.
the O-rings I need are for the fuel mixture screw and the vacuum connection (same Oring according the parts diagram) part# 9055-1134
OD of my current Oring 6.22 mm
ID of used Oring 3.33 mm
OD or screw = 3.67 mm
have anything like that?
I need 8 of them.
thanks!

Okay, so if I'm reading this correct the "OD of screw = 3.67 mm". What is the ID of the hole this screw goes into?

Lots of detail here; (all re-measured so if you see varaince that is why)
OD hole: 6.6mm
OD of the screw head: 6mm
OD of the 'inset' where the O ring fits: 3.64mm
ID of the worn O ring I pulled off: 3.38mm
removed O ring thickness: 1.37mm (where it looks 'healthiest)
And... as long as you are looking....
Also looking needing some fuel supply O rings ;
OD of 'inset' for O ring: 6.95mm
OD of 'head' of aluminum fuel supply: 9.74mm
ID of removed O ring: 6.71mm
Thickeness of removed O ring: 1.5mm

For the fuel supply O-rings I need the ID of the hole.
In general I need two things: ID of hole & OD of the "inset" where the O-ring sits.

Set the dimensions to mm
Set tolerances = 0
CSto = default number

Yes, that should read ID for the hole. (sorrry)
so the measurements I sent are ID of the whole and OD of the inset.

Plugged the numbers into the O-ring calculator linked earlier and it comes out with a 3.5 x 1.8 O-ring (ID x thickness).
I'm afraid that I don't have anything close.
Hopefully you can find some. This is an odd size. Very fat O-ring. At any rate, using that calculator is easy. Just plug in the numbers and it spits out an answer.
