Could be. The overflows should have tubes on them and the idle screw is in too far.

You can see from pic 017 how the pilot jet on the left carbs is on the opposite side of the right carbs. This doesnt match the pic of the 74 carbs i found on line, and the 74 style float does not fit in my left carbs.

I set the idle screw at 1.5 turns out from seated. I didnt run a wire through the enrichment tube, but i will now!

Steve - where do the overflow tubes run on the bike? I hate having all the mess of the fuel lines, vent lines, overflow lines running everywhere.

Overflow lines go to the right side down between the swing arm pivot below the pipes. I'll take pics of mine later.

tubes aka hoses aka lines

Overflow tubes and vent hoses exit to open air.

This holds the overflow tubes together:
