Pingle Fuel Petcock , fuel line size ?
21 Jul 2016 18:28
Just received my Pingle dual outlet Fuel Petcock # 3311-D-AH. The fuel outlets measure 5/16" O.D. but my rubber fuel line measures 6mm I.D.. Not a problem to stretch and slide the existing fuel line over fuel outlets of Petcock, but will this size fuel line that I have " Impede " fuel flow all that much ? Bike is a 77' KZ1000A stock fuel tank with screw on male end ( 22mm nut ).
If I need to look for different fuel line I will.

If the line will fit there shouldn't be any problems. Must be a tight fit.

Line will fit ( very flexible ) and certainly will be tight enough. Thanks for the input.
I'm having my gas tank powder coated black with a clear coat. Looking for a different look.

Maybe search fuel line....... Goodyear makes a exc 5/16 inch fuel line ..... the Pingle is a high flow beauty of a petcock I wouldn't choke it down with 1/4 inch line. ............. whups should a read it better dual outlet guess 2 1/4s would be plenty.

On a stock engine, two 6mm lines should provide all the fuel it can handle.
