Carb repair kit for unidedtified carb set was created by Apets1100
Hello everybody
I have a z1100GP converted to carbs. The carbs that are on the bike are BS34 but I don't know the bike model that they came of. Trying to find a solution on that because I need to buy a repair kit for them. Is there a database with photos or some kind of identification numbers, somewhere? or any other kind of solution? These are my carbs in the photo. I can upload other photos if necessary...

From the diagrams at Partzilla I think most if not all of the 81-on KZ1000/1100 models used the same carbs, including
the 82-2005 KZ1000-P police bikes (not the 81 1000-C4 police). The primary differences are probably in the jets.
I wouldn't necessarily buy carburetor kits as they usually cover a range of models, so you can end up paying for extra unneeded parts. you may only need to replace the gaskets & rubber parts. Z1Enterprises.com probably has the stuff you'd need. I would clean the carbs & inspect everything, then place an order.
I compared various parts of an 81 1000 & 2005 1000P and the stuff I checked was the same. same floats & float valves, bowl gaskets & pilot jet plugs, and the pilot air screws etc are the same. the vac slide valves had different part numbers.
I did not compare the jets. you could compare other stuff.

Cycleorings.com sells a BS CV carb O-ring kit that's very useful. Reuse your old floatbowl gaskets or get some new ones as necessary from the likes of Z1 Enterprises. As for jetting, I'd get a Dynojet kit from a similar year KZ1100, and also make sure the pilot jets are the correct size.

Thank you all for the quick and helpfull replies. I'll start opening the carbs today and see what I'll find.. I was unable to even start the bike for the last 3 years, so maybe there are noumerous plants and alive creatures in those bouls... I looked in Z1 enterprises and found a set that seems ok, it has two numbers of jets 120 & 122,5. Can I presume that theese numbers are close to the standard that bike had from the factory?
I'll check mine to see what number they are..
I looked in cycleorings and jetsrus, very helpfull.
Also sorry for my poor english, I hope that it'not all looks like greeks to you! I'm from Greece..
