TK-22 O RINGS LEAK

#716697
I tried to start the bike for spring. Crank but no start, and fuel starting leaking all over the floor. The 3 yr old drain screw o ring for carb #4 is halfway rotted away. I used Marine Stabil last fall in the fuel. Never again; I guess I will have to go back to Startron.

Is there another source for TK-22 o rings besides expensive rebuild kits?

There are two on the drain screw. An inner and outer. I assume you need the larger outer one.
Drain screw uses 4.8mmID x 1.95mmCS and a 2.50mmID x 1.50mmCS

ID means inside diameter of the doughnut hole, and CS means cross-sectional diameter of the rubber itself.

Try to get Viton material if you can.

Here's a site that will sell you single orings (not sure how they can afford to do it for 80 cents).
newmotorcycleparts.net/fuel_system_parts...v_gl_carb_parts.html

They have a 4.8 x 1.9 . Part# OR-4635 (I've used it on the main jet holder, and the drain screw uses the same oring.)
They also have a 2.4 x 1.6 . Part# OR-4636 (This could be a little fat, but worth a try for the inner ring.)

McMaster Carr is my go-to for o-rings. You have to buy them in packs of 25 or 50 usually but still cheap.

The inner o ring is eaten away so the drain leaks with the drain screw tightened.

I guess I will tear down the carbs to see what other damage stabil did not prevent.
