76 kz900 29mm smoothbore issues... video included

I have included a video to help describe the problem I'm having. I'm currently running a 120 main and 17.5 idle. If it give it any amount of gas too fast it just dies. It was somewhat better when I had a 25 idle jet. Do I keep going up on the idle jets? I had the carbs syncd and taken care of professionally a year and a half ago, but now that I've gotten the voltage problem taken care of this is now what it is doing. Thanks

where are your air screws set at? try turning them in or out .
example if they are all set at a turn and a half out then go in a half turn to see if it changes.

Mikuni says to start at 3/4 turn then adjust for best idle 1/4 turn at a time waiting 10 seconds each time to let the carb catch up. Keep the idle around 900/1200. If it won't do that, sync the carbs then try again. When I'm done I'll raise the RPM's to around 2500 and listen for a miss. I can usually dial it out this way unless the pilot's are too big.

Steve,

I will have to give that a go tomorrow. I can get it to idle all day long. I just can't give it throttle too quickly or it dies.

Thanks,
Walt

What clip position are your needles at? If you change them you'll HAVE to sync the carbs again.

I have a 4 -1 and pods
120 main
25 pilots(now)
3/4 turn out
it'll idle at 1k all day long but stalls if accelerates too hard. I'm going to try the advancer tomorrow.
