Carburetor tuning on 83 gpz

I have a 1983 gpz750 and I recently upjetted the carbs. I bought the bike with a Vance and Hines pipe and a set of pod air filters and it didn't start very well. The stock jets are supposed to be 37.5 pilot and 110 main. The bike had stock pilots and 132.5 main. I changed to 40 pilots and 120 main and now my carburetors flood. What do you think could cause this?

Search clear tube test. It's all there.
