Some hack artist PO did this to the airbox cap on my 82 GPz 750.Wondering if it would be worth my while to get one with the stock "funnel".Guessing running it this way will increase the intake noise,I'm not a fan of doing that!Would this make a rejet in order?

It might mess up the jetting. I'd just get a new cap...and an airfilter while you are at it.

That looks like just about every KZ650/700/750 is a possible donor.Hope I can find someone who'll part with just a cap.The rest of my airbox looks good if dirty  I think my GS roots are showing, cap is a much better description of the part
Edit:changed the OP to correct terminology ;)

You'll have spare boots too. I wouldn't be barking about $15.

Shipping to Canada was $28 USD,that is $41 CAD.The price we pay for living up here. Not sure those would be the boots that fit my GPz either and they look pretty hard even if the do,

I'm happy to get it believe me,I don't really think about costs either,It all gets done in the end just not as fast as I like sometimes. Those Diablo prices are good but trolling eBay I found these out of Japan srx.ca.ebayrtm.com/clk?RtmClk&u=1H4sIAAA...&m=631106&pi=2050601
