Loose fuel inlet tee

the fuel inlet tee and the crossovers are very loose. Im sure this has been asked before ..lol maybe even by me..but
i got a used set from ebay and the seller said the rubber is fine but I may want to use something like Hylamar Blue on em..
the crossovers actually fit tighter than the ones i have but the tee is about the same..loose.. i tried heating one up with a heat gun and it did fit tighter but im still not sure itll work ..so I have it soaking in a transmission/brake fluid mixture.
any thoughts on this ? you cant put orings on these. and what about the Hylamar Blue method?..waste of time?.
will they swell up when i start using them?

i think theirs are for the older 28 and 26 carbs.

get the yellow Teflon tape for gas plumbing , it's thicker than the white & probably more impervious to the fuelbaldy110 wrote: Very easy and cheap fix, wrap regular old Teflon tape around all the ends and insert. Make sure they are all a very snug fit. works great and will last.

they have since held for 4 years and over 30,000 miles.
So I say soak them in gas for a couple days and see if they feel tighter.
