Just wondering if this is correct behaviour for cv carbs
The carbs in question are cvk34 carbs

When the bike is warm and the choke is pulled the rpms will rise, at full choke the bike will max out at 5k rpm
Is this normal? or should the bike die out from too much fuel/

Why would you want to use the choke with a warm engine?

yes, one of those kz gpz quirks one gets used to. I prefer to pull away just after starting and knock the choke off, or 1/2 depending on the weather. It will be grumpy until a mile later - you don't want to thrash these anyway when cold. The slide carbs 'choke' are bad for this too, certainly on the 550's.
