Fuel connectors for the mikuni carbs?

I have a '79 650 with Mikuni Carbs and the fuel connector between carb 2 and 3 is leaking gas like crazy. What is the best place to source it and the other two fuel connectors (1-2, 3-4)? I checked Z1 and they only have aluminum ones that they peg as being for a Suzuki.

You can try jetsRus. It could be the O rings.

I was wondering if I could just replace the o-rings, or it I had to replace the whole thing. I don't have it apart right now, and I don't remember if the o-rings are separate pieces, or if they are part of the connector.

Some are "rubberized" some aren't.

If mine are the rubberized type (I'm pretty sure they are) is there anything that I can do with them, or should I replace them? And if I should replace them, then back to the first question as to where to get the parts (I'm looking at jetsrus but I haven't fount them yet).

You might be able to clean them up, smear a little grease on them and run them.

Most of the Mikuni and Keihin carbs use O-Rings on the interconnects. You have to take it apart anyway to either swap the tubes or put in new O-Rings. I would do a google search on the model carbs for an exploded parts view. That should answer the question of O-ring or not.

My 80 kz1000e2 had the rubberized ones. I bought aluminum ones off ebay ( I think? ) for a good price. They are functioning great so far after about 3 seasons.

Click on the link provided for Z1 and click the tee ....... they sell the o rings seperatly for .79 cents each there .... on my 78 that cured my problem... hoping the 79 is the same. Thinking it took 12...... I've heard of them drying out and a little gas swelling them up and sealing them but mine were pretty loose from sitting while I used the smooth bores.

That's a thought too (probably a better one) I bought the same set but after I got my other ones from Z1 ...... at least I was placing a order for a few other things so I saved on the shipping.
