Fuel selector filters was created by missionkz
Does anyone know if these little filter tips, slid on to the stock fuel selector's brass tubes, are found anywhere?
They slide off with not too much trouble.

I have a ball of fuel proof nylon batting safety wired to the brass tubing now and feel like an idiot doing so ... but no junk has gotten past it.

I think I saved the link but I bought a new lap top for the bike. Maybe under fuel strainers?

Thanks..... $3.00 for a pair at 1/10 ounce and $6.62 for shipping with shipping materials for that pair seems rather expensive Yes? No?
Still I have none.... except the cracked one in that picture.....

My brass tube measures right in at under 6mm in diameter.... the website says the inside diameter of the filter is 6.7mm...
I wonder if that is too big and would pop off?
added:
The inside dim of my removed filter is 5.96mm I'm betting that extra .75 means the replacement one it doesn't stay on the brass tube....
Has anyone tried these yet?

I'm going to buy some. I can just use my heat gun if needed. The one on the main tube was broken when I got the petcock from z1partsinc. Had some SHT get into my petcock and scored the inside. I had to sand everything to get it to shut off the fuel fully.

I wonder if you could use a tight fitting Viton O-Ring to slip over & down to the bottom to hold it on & close the gap ?
