1980 KZ750E1 carb kit help

What the heck are the parts supposed to replace. The needle doesn't look remotely like the one in my bike, and I'm unsure where the orings and little washers are supposed to go. The little spring and spacer are a mystery to me too.
I do have a Canadian spec KZ, but I didn't see anything that would indicate the carb is different.
Any help would be much appreciated.

One o ring for the bowl drain plug
One o ring (which you might need to file down with an emory board) for the plug over the pilot jet

I had assumed the kits would come with everything I needed parts wise.
So far, two plungers on the float needles were completely shot, one pilot mixture screw had a broken tip and no washer or o-ring, and one of the pilot mixture screws is totally stripped and I'm going to have to try and drill it.
Also, I realized how stupid my question was after I said it... I haven't looked at the bike in months after my synch attempt (with a manometer) failed. I just had a "duh moment" and didn't know what the pilot mixture screws looked like because I didn't pull them out.
Anyone have luck drilling out the pilot mixture screw before? I provided a picture of how screwed I am. Lol.

JR wrote: In your 3rd pic I MG 16 43, carb on the left , It looks like it's just the cap over the mixture screw that's a bit buggered. You have one in the carb kit so you can gauge the thickness. If you drill slowly and carefully until the bit just goes through it you should be able to prise it out without damage to the screw beneath.
It is funny, it is so chewed up, it actually looks like a screw head when you look at it in person... But the photo obviously looks like aluminum and not brass. I do hope it is just the cap!

I finally had time to finish up, got the carbs back on the bike with new carb holders + airbox boots, and I'm having the same issues I was before. I get the bike started, but it will only start with throttle (choke at any setting doesn't help), then once it warms up a little it will idle, but the rpms just continue to go up as the bike warms up, and when you give it any gas, the rpms go up but really don't want to come back down.
The left side of the exhaust (while on the bike) was also spewing exhaust smoke (unburnt fuel maybe?), which is new, but it also backfired on that side.
I'll have to wait to try and do the wd-40 test to see if there are any leaks. After putting on new holders and boots (as well as going through the carbs), I'm pretty pissed and fed up with this bike.
