Is there a chance they're dried out and leaking gas? I'm getting ready to take my carbs off for the third time and that's where I'm going

No, they're new, dried out would probably leak though. As for grease. I'm trying it. Can't hurt.

I must be doing something wrong, I've adjusted float levels on all the carbs to get a proper fuel level of 7mm +- 1mm as per manual. I did this while the carbs were level in my vice clamp. Hook them back up, bike fires right up. Couple days later (today) I took it for a nice long ride. Come home and put it on its kickstand and gas is still saturating the vent tubes.. The one that is closest to the kickstand is more wet maybe from being the angle how the bike sits from being on kickstand. Also, read somewhere on this site to position the vent tubes upwards, instead of downwards (how they are now) maybe that's an issue. Obviously facing upwards wouldn't ever build enough gas to get to top of hose. And if I understand correctly the vent tube is just drawing in air as the fuel level drops, and vice versa. Still don't know how it would come out the tubes.
