Guess it comes down to if you see pollution of the air your engine breathe or the air everything breathes as the most important. I would buy a system like this if it came ready to bolt on -maybe even including the pods- if I were to run pods on my bike (which I'm not though). Great idea!

All modern vehicles run a sealed crankcase system (typically one hose to the air box inlet, one to a metered valve going to a vacuum source) it isn't just an emissions thing but also for power and efficiency too. The rings are supposed to get a better seal when the engine crankcase is at zero pressure or negative. Yes, you aren't getting full benefit from just having a hose coming off the breather but, you may not get full benefit from the kz setup.

I put a cammed out, high compression motor in my camaro five or six years ago, with them neat breather covers on it, idled for crap, fouled plugs, got crap mileage and would build up enough pressure to spit oil out at times. Put the stock style PCV system back on and all those issues went away.

YMMV
