CSR 750 air box boots?

Hi i have a 82 CSR 750 twin, Cant seem to find air box boots anywhere? Any ideas ?
1982 Kz750 w/ inverted gsxr front end. (sold) but forever missed
1980 z1000 cafe project w/76kz900 motor in it
80 kz 1000
81 kz1000
79 Yamaha xs 650
1979 kz 1000 LTD
1977 kz 1000 A
1977 kz 650 C
1978 kz 650

Its not available on the CMSNL site which is not a good sign.Do you still have the old ones?

Your bike is a 1982 KZ750 CSR M1 model - correct ? Air box rubbers are part number - 14073 -1061 same as K1 and K2 models - unfortunately it appears no other models use the same ones as yours- had a quick look on ebay - nothing.
Do you have a wrecker network website there - might be only way to find more.

Yes i do have old ones but there naturally hard as a rock and seem to shrunk a little bit. But i might boil em in some water and or hair dryer technique and wrestle them back on.

Also, if you want to eliminate the boiling step, a soak in 1 part wintergreen oil to 3 parts IPA works well. Let it soak about 24 hours and they be perfect. :laugh: Currently soaking mine now!

That would be a sin! Isopropyl alcohol. Disclaimer: Drinking an IPA while doing this is known to help results.

New? Or old used hard junk rubber. The 750-CSR is a Twin & the ducts are different from the 4-cyl.
