carb pilot screw settings csr1000 m1

hi guys great forum you have here , can you tell me what my pilot screw settings should be ,i have standerd air box with k n filter in, i have ajusted carbs to 1 3/4 turns out as was runing lean , i have also removed the smog stuff as im in england so dont need it ,pluged hole in air box and the pipe that goes to 2 carb vac intakes ,i have left on and pluged end of t bar,i have also got a pipe runing across both reed valves, i have cleaned carbs out and oiled advancer

Check your plugs. They should tell if you are too lean or not.

Are you talking about the idle mixture screw??
If so,the Clymer book says 1 and 1/4 turns out.If not,I dont know.

it doesint run right 1 1/4 turns out, i have k&n filter in air box so i have had to compansate for it, the plugs look a brown tan so i think i have it about right at 1 3/4 out thanks for advice guys ,took her for a short spin pulls like a train
