I have a 1982 kz750 gpz and I just put on Pod filters knowing that I most likely have to re-jet my carbs.
I only re-jeted my main jets and my pilot jets to a larger size to let more fuel In.
The bike was starting just fine before I re-jeted now It wont start for more than 3 seconds.
Any suggestions to what could be happening?

In the mean time, running for only three seconds may indicate that there is very little fuel in the carbs. Could be a clog, a kinked fuel line or even improperly set fuel level. Could be a fierce air leak or two. Could be really off jetting.

I'm shocked, shocked that anyone would have problems with their bike after installing pods; especially when the bike has CV carbs!
Put the airbox and stock filter back on along with stock jetting and enjoy riding the bike instead of spending your life trying to find the magic jetting formula. Ed

Because of the way they operate, CV carburetors are sensitive to changes in the air intake.
When using individual filters, someone here on KZR suggested using extenders between each carb & filter. I think the reason is that the extenders may stabilize the airflow into the carbs.
Stock airbox & jets. The bike may have been jetted lean from the factory, so if you keep the stock airbox, you might be able to increase the main jets a size or two. ???

You can't really just guess unless you have some experience jetting that particular bike, carb combination.
What were your old jet numbers and what are your new ones? Both pilot and mains.
The problem is most likely either the pilot jets being too big, or some other issue related to removing and reinstalling the carbs that has nothing to do with the jetting.
