I've never seen that type. If no one else here can identify it you may want to send the pictures to the Wired George (WG) forum. There's quite a bit of carb discussion there. Here the WG home link. Ed

So I went to kawasaki.com , owner info, parts diagrams etc and looked up the float bowl o ring for my 750 carbs which is still available from kawasaki and after selecting the part number - see pic - I clicked on the little yellow question mark.
Clicking on the question mark gives a long list of carbs which use that O ring which is the same as yours. At least I think it looks like your carb. Going through these from the top it looks like pretty much the same carb as in your photographs is used on everything on the list from and including the KLT 200 A3 to the KLT 250 P1.
So not a "hybrid" carb as I thought and suggested above. If you can call up the list on Kawasaki.com you might be able to narrow things down a bit further.
Not a full answer but hope it helps

Thanks JR! You are absolutely right! Looking at the KLT200 exploded view of the carburetor it looks identical to mine. How about that...
Now the question remains is; did kawasaki put this type of carb on the later models kz200 or did the previous owner?
Anyway, thank you so much!! You guys really helped me with this one! :woohoo:

Hope it works out for you. I'm sure it will.
Let us know how the carb works. If you find you have air leaks then you might also need to replace the motor to carb boot. Looks to have a few cracks in it.
Good luck

It does look like it has seen better days huh? I've been looking out for a new carb holder but they seem to be scarse.
I'll keep you posted.

Figuring out what model it is: CycleChaos has frame & engine numbers.
Registration documents can have errors, so use the info found on the bike.
If the VIN label is gone, check to see if the vin is stamped into the steering head somewhere.

You can replace that o'ring with an inexpensive one from an industrial supplier. Check my post

So it has been a while. Moved house and actually found a place to store my bikes (5 and counting..)
The little thumper did not want to ilde like it should. When i revved the enginge the revs would go down to ilde but it took forever. Sounds like air leaks huh? Nope.. Could not find any.
So last week I found a guy who wanted to get rid of a bunch of KZ200 and KZ250 (single) parts. I bought a complete kz250 engine and 3 crates of kz200 and kz250 parts. Including an original A1/A2/A3 carburetor! :woohoo:
Stuck that carb in my bike and what do you know... IT RUNS GREAT! :pinch:
Youtube:
Yes it is stalling but that is because i closed the fuel tap. The float chamber gasket is leaking (derp, old carbs..) and Im planning to replace that soon.
