routing of throttle cable
22 Dec 2013 14:31
I had my 305CSR out yesterday, working bugs out of it. Right now it is unusually warm here in PA. Getting outside!!
The idle would vary: sometimes right at 1000 and others it would not go below 3000. I also noticed that when I turned the handle bars to the right that the engine would rev up to about 5 grand. Today I pulled the tank off and it looks like it might be better if the cable routed on the left side of the frame (it is on the right now). I could not see the throttle move when I turned the bars to the right but if I pulled down on the cable in the middle that the throttles would move.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks,
HH

I did not set out to buy a project bike,
but I got one anyway.
