Can get my gs1000 to stay running?? was created by Sparker
I have a 78 gs1000 which I've put 3mm pistons in and was running great til this winter when I put on carbs off an 82 gs1100 all rebuilt and a dyna 2000 ignition plus a Vance & Hines exhaust. Has anyone tried this set up before I can't get it to stay running any advice would be awesome

Those Suzikis sure do take skinny pistons. Let's see - 1000 cc / 3mm bore - that stroke must be about 4 or 5 feet.    Ed

I would start by swapping out the GS motor for KZ one.
That should solve all your problems ;) :)
