KZ200 Parts. Carburetor holders/ boots.
09 Apr 2013 14:49
I was wondering if any knows where I can get the holders for a carburetor on a 1978 KZ200. There are two, one from the engine into the carb and one from the air box. If any knows other models are compatible with this one (maybe the kz250 or higher). Any help is appreciated. thanks

The ebay item id given is invalid, no result has been sentNo eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationHere's an inlet pipe (airbox to carb):
Here's the carb holder (carb to cylinder head), but you will need to contact the seller about shipping to the US.
I hope this helps. Ed

It will be interesting to see if gearhead actually has that part. When I tried to look it up (see item 19 in link) they show it as discontinued and show no price, which I suspect means unavailable from them.

I talked to Jack at Gearhead and you were correct. He did give me a dealer that show they have the part in stock.
Manassas Honda 703.361.2233 I called them and has it in stock with a visual for 10.00 plus shipping.
When talking to the parts guy I forgot to ask him to locate a dealer for your other part. Ask him and I am sure he will try to locate a dealer for you!

Thank you guys so much. I am going to get the one on ebay. I typed in on ebay "Carburetor holder" which is what bike bandit calls it and nothing came up. I got it now. Thanx again.

Alot (like 99%) of online retailers work off of a parts database. They have no idea if the part is available or not, you pay for the part, then they email you a day or 2 or 3 later saying the part is NLA (no longer available) your money is now tied up for a few more days.
Ebay is the best source because you physically see the part. If you use an online retailer, just contact them first and ask if they have the part available.
Certain Kawasaki dealerships, not all, have the ability to search other dealership's inventory. You need to call around to find one. I'm in NJ, called a dealership in CT who found a part in WA. lol

Hi This is my first time doing an entry. I just purchased a 1978 kz200 kawasaki motorcycle. I have it at the shop as the throttle seems bunched and i can't start it. He called me said that the carb is not good anymore. It can't even be rebuilt. I have done a bit of research and I think it is a Keihin PW26. I went to the gearhead in this forum and they are out of stock. Can anyone help me?
