My carbs have to inputs for gas. Can I use a single outlet petcock and put a "T" in the gas line to feed both sides of the carbs?
Here's a picture of the stock petcock I removed and the Pingel that should fit a 1977 KZ.

Thanks for the suggestion, if I can't get the Pingel thing worked ill give it a try. I'd really like to use the Pingel though.

They're a modified 28 carb set that WGcarbs used to make. They were suggested by Goerge himself but then he couldn't find realiable machine shops so he stopped offering them.

Powerstroke_fan wrote: you should be able to run a single with a T. but whats wrong with the one you got? if i am not mistaken the pingels are the same they just use diffrent adp plates. So you should be able to get the correct plate and it should work on your petcock.
Z1's customer service told me that the petcock I got won't work with any adaptor plate.

StreetfighterKz wrote: I use the same Pingel as you have on my '78 1000 with the appropriate adapter plate. You should be able to unscrew the 22mm nut and screw the petcock into the adapter plate. The only thing you need to do is clearance the slot were the stock oval screen fits through to accommodate the round screen.
Later, Doug
I will measure the threads and check it out. I really hope this works so I don't have to buy another petcock. Thanks.
