The Service manual in my signature will have the rebuild/ setting info. but you may have different jetting.

So if that's the case either the float valves are sticking or the fuel level is set too high. I would clean (or if damaged replace) the float valves and if that doesn't stop the leak I would try the clear tube test to see where the fuel level is set. And for sure check the oil as Patton suggests because it may be leaking through the engine side of the carbs too and seeping into the crankcase. Ed


Sorry about yesterday Ed I was having a really bad day and you were correct it was a sticky float thank you everyone for the info I do greatly appreciate all of your help.

Thank you I had no idea's which ones I was working with lol and I do appreciate the manual. but just a quick question about the manual. Does it all still apply to the 2001 as well??

i had gas leaking between my 3rd and 4th carbs. i ended up getting them rebuilt and the problem was solved

And whatever you do, don't use silicone sealant on your bowls lol that's what caused mine to stick after my rebuild lol

no silicone used on mine, i sent them to oldskoolcarbs and he rebuit them
