Unless you had it alcohol injected. And a dragbike outboard starter cart following you.
I have been trying to buy this one for 5 years. I took these pictures 5-6 years ago. This guy never got it running long enough to ride it.
Look at the rust on the header.
He wants $2,000 for the set up, not including the bike. He said he would let it sit till he dies, before giving it away. He is in his late 60's.
Why didn't he ever get it running properly? I had another post on here awhile back about making an Alchohol KZ1000. I never knew that a supercharger would fit right in with that equation.

infinately tuneable, will smoke a carbed motor without breaking a sweat! :woohoo:
I saw a used turbo that was marked "Blake" on the pipe going from the turbo it self, seller said it would probably fit kz1000 and gs1000/gs1100, 600$ he wanted.

Kitten Tooth wrote: A turbo and a supercharger both basically do the same thing right? The supercharger is just more efficient. At least that what my shop teacher says. The turbo just crams air into the motor just like a supercharger only with recycled exhaust right?
Both turbo and supercharger force additional fuel mixture into the cylinder.
Turbo -- Exhaust spins the Turbo without using engine power.
Fresh air is used in the fuel mixture. Exhaust output isn't part of the fuel mixture.
Engine must be spinning for exhaust pressure to spin the turbo. That's the reason for turbo "lag" from low rpm, which occurs until the engine gets going fast enough to produce sufficient exhaust pressure to spin the turbo. Lower compression pistons are fitted, which allows larger combustion chambers for the turbo to force-feed. The initial low compression also contributes to the lag time off idle. And when the exhaust pressure gets sufficient to spin the turbo, then the magic happens.
Supercharger -- Uses some engine power to force-feed additional fuel mixture into the cylinder.
It performs immediately off idle, and without lag. Instant magic.
At least that's my simplistic understanding. Others will have better and more competent explanations.
Good Fortune!
