Not only does he identify the carbs wrongly, but he cannot even assemble them correctly... amazing
Worse, he's adamant he is correct... and pretending to be a skilled person with 30+ years of experience... hmm....
I'm curious how he replaced all the o-rings, jets and float needle valve assemblies - none of the 29mm smoothbore parts will work on these carbs...
Would you trust him to rebuild your carbs?
Hell no!

He's now claiming the carbs are modified to take the VM29 float bowls, with different emulsion tubes and special floats.... what a BS'er - his 30 years of expertise is clearly showing through.

Sounds to me that he is learning his little ebay lesson. Maybe all the guys riding aircooled fours aren't complete idiots that fall for every scam offered. He's still about $200-$300 off the price IMO. I seriously doubt that these carbs have been bored to 29mm. I could put enough pressure on those POS plastic calipers to get them to read 29mm if you could even read the dial in the picture. Just another ebay snake oil salesman trying to make a quick buck. He can rot on the vine and learn that an honest living is made with honest work.
