The center-to-center measurement on my 81 650 is 44mm. I'd guess the 750-4s are the same... just a guess.clutch wrote: I measure 46mm from center bolt to center bolt on my 82 kz750 e3. Can anyone confirm this before I order from Z1? I just want to be sure I get the correct adapter plate.
FYI: for anyone who wants to stick w a vacuum petcock on their 80s model (44mm eye-to-eye), from using the cross-ref & supersession info at the Kaw site for an 83 650-CSR, I'm pretty sure you can use one from a late model Police bike (~2005 - 51023-1375 TAP-ASSY,FUEL).
Thanks for replying. I measured with the petcock still on the tank. I will remeasure when I pull it out to prep for painting just to double check. I'm guessing that it would probably be the same as yours.

Absolutely is vacuum, stock, 2 fuel lines, 1 vacuum line, it's an A2A, maybe different from an A2 IDK.
Hell yeah 78 was the year of the dreaded introduction of the vacuum operated Piece of Shits on pretty much all models
