the throttle bodies are bigger than a kz heads intake ports...i just am messing with some vm33 smoothies and they take j model boots to convert...there is hardly any head intake flat left to accept the boots....the carbs are bigger than the aluminum intake port...i.d -o.d....that said i've heard they can be made to work...omr has some really nice cr 29's i think or the ones the japanese sites often shopw on their build...red topped ones...i like OMR's ...see what he tells ya....folks say there i s not much dif in the 26 and the old model 29 smoothies....i think there is a big differnce if ran with pods and a keker or quality freed up pipe...they wake a motor up imo.....

I have 34s on my 1075 with some intake massaging and stock cams. They work well but I lost a noticeable amount of low/mid rpm torque when I took off the stock 26s. Still very streetable and the revs are instantaneous.

This KZ is less than 1075cc, has racing compression and serious cams, good cylinderhead....

It runs CR31 Keihins [Hi Marty :)]

9.54 @ 145.16MPH
