Got those on my 650.

I swear to God, it's like I live in a trailer of common sense, and stare out the window at a tornado of stupidity.

Anyone know where I can pick up some 115 main jets and 17.5 pilot jets for these carbs? I checked Z1 Enterprises and found some but wasn't sure if they were for a 24mm.

Thanks, but there are so many order #s there, I'm not sure which one is correct. Large Hex, Small Hex - how do I know which one I have? My intake openings are 24mm.
Sorry again for all the dumb questions, but I'm pretty new to this stuff. I've only gone as far as cleaning carbs and replacing seals. Never messed with re-jetting, timing, or compression issues yet, but I'm learning a lot from you guys.

Mikuni Smoothbores or Smoothies were produced in 29mm and 33mm sizes.
Both are manual slide carbs.
And both incorporate a jet block over which the slide moves up and down.
Both have a 17mm hex drain screw on bottom of float bowls without overflow drain nipple (no overflow circuit).
Neither have separate drain screws, except some very early 29mm smoothbore models have a side located drain screw on the float bowl without the 17mm hex nut.

Read the details and see pics by clicking here > www.z1enterprises.com/reference/z1-carb-guide.aspx

If there are other size smoothbores out there somewhere, such as 24mm or 26mm or 28mm, I don't know about them.

Good Fortune! :)

I thought we identified mine as VM24mm Smoothies with drain screws on the bottom by the photos earlier in this thread. Now I'm confused when you say they only produced 29mm and 33mm.

Guess I need to pull them off and open them up to see just what kind I have. Hex or Round.

"Both have a 17mm hex drain screw on bottom of float bowls without overflow drain nipple (no overflow circuit)."

Yours has the float bowl nipple thus not 29mm smooth bores...

Your miss understanding what Patton provided... He was giving you the Smooth Bore definition and the differences on a "Smoothie thus 29mm smooth bore carb"... The 26mm and 29mm look similar but with some external variances and obviously internal as well.

Measure the carb opening, you'll most likely measure 24mm, possibly 26mm...

Here's a pic side view of the 17mm hex head on bottom of Mikuni smoothbore float bowl.
